this time let's do pictures first !!!

There's no place like the British Museum - and Sunday - so LOTS and LOTS of people (and tour groups - and it seems the current thing is to give the whole group a violently colored back pack!)

Inside the glass case behind all the people is the Rosetta Stone.  Ah memories of our first trip in early 1990's, and it was in the open, behind a railing.

and the "real" Hathor (stargaters, take note...GRIN )

but I had no idea the back was so delightfully decorated as well... !

and... a diana & dodi shrine in the basement of Harrods - didn't expect it.. but don't know if I'm surprised or not...

LOVE the "really big chorus" -- got to go hear that group (with a cheap ticket...)

whole foods london, which makes ours look like a mom and pop store -- gobs of ready to eat - open, ala buffet.

and of course I'm knitting.  A sweater, about 1/4 done.  Next weekend is Knit Nation, so maybe I'll be wearing it?
