31 July - London

wow -- since the last post, I have bagged a moose, seen a witch dissolve (Wicked!), seen a honest to goodness british wedding (in salisbury cathedral, no less!!), seen parks galore and animals (zoo) and logged a good many hours at V&A.

I took lots of pictures... and have posted them with comments. Enjoy!

and everyone is on HOLIDAY!!! London is getting very crowded -- so much so that the "main sights" - westminster abbey, buckingham palace, london eye - have lines out the wazoo -- and that's for people WITH tickets (that they ordered on line - the future of sight-seeing?)

I have finished my sweater -- tada -- pictures in the next batch.

It has been a good trip - as I have said in a couple of emails to folks - eyes full of wonderful things, and insides breathing.

cheerio to all -

one last day trip tomorrow - to Portsmouth. the Mary Rose is closed, but there is the lovely seaside, and the Overlord Tapestries in the D-Day Museum.
